SCOPE OF WORKS

The project comprised the full internal fit-out and refurbishment of Tesco Express Olympia, delivered within a fast-track four-week programme. Works included ceramic and safety flooring to high-traffic customer and back-of-house areas, detailed ceramic wall tiling and feature finishes, partitioning and dry lining with layout adjustments, grid ceiling replacement, carpentry and joinery, specialist fixtures and fittings, fire doors and passive fire protection, toilet installations to current standards, and commercial bakery and cold-room storage installations with hygienic wall finishes and specialist flooring.

The works were undertaken within an older central London building, requiring careful planning to manage restricted access, limited working hours, and complex logistics. Robust health and safety procedures were implemented throughout, with close coordination and trade sequencing to ensure compliance with current regulations. A flexible and collaborative approach enabled safe and efficient delivery without compromising quality.

The refurbishment was completed on time and within budget, delivering a modern, durable, and fully compliant retail environment. The refreshed store enhances the customer experience while meeting operational requirements, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex retail refurbishments in constrained city-centre locations under fast-track programmes.
