White Lion Pub

08/04/2026

SCOPE OF WORKS

The project involved the full internal fit-out and refurbishment of the White Lion Pub and Restaurant in Frenchay, Bristol, delivered within a fast-track four-week programme. Works included installation of specialist flooring (ceramic, safety, carpet, timber), feature wall finishes, partitioning and dry lining to form customer and operational areas, ceiling and wall features in line with brand requirements, carpentry and bespoke joinery including bar and feature casework, full decoration and artwork installation, compliant toilet refurbishments, and commercial kitchen wall and floor finishes. External works also included landscaping and installation of resin-bound surfacing to public areas.

Due to the age of the building and the compressed programme, detailed planning and flexible delivery were essential. Robust health and safety controls were maintained throughout, with careful coordination of multiple trades to ensure works were completed safely, efficiently, and to specification without compromising quality.

The refurbishment was completed on time and within budget, delivering a refreshed, welcoming hospitality venue aligned with Greene King IPA’s brand and character. The completed works enhanced the customer experience while meeting operational requirements, demonstrating our capability to deliver high-quality hospitality refurbishments within challenging timescales and existing building constraints.
